Arnoks Independent Rider Agreement
Version IRA-1. Between Arnoks Food Corporation ("Arnoks"), Arnoks Business Hub, McArthur Highway, Block 1, Sta. Cruz, Tarlac City, Tarlac 2300, and the rider named in the sign-up record ("you"). You accept it online by ticking the boxes and typing your full name.
1. What this is
Arnoks runs the Arnoks Rider app, which shows delivery requests from customers of Arnoks stores. You are an independent rider: you run your own delivery business with your own vehicle. You are not an employee of Arnoks or of any Arnoks store, and nothing in this Agreement makes you one. Arnoks stores are independently owned; Arnoks only connects stores, customers and riders.
2. Your freedom
- You decide if, when, where and how long you go online. There are no shifts, quotas or minimum hours.
- You may accept or pass on any request, without penalty.
- You may work for other apps, stores and businesses at the same time.
- You choose your route. You use your own vehicle, phone, fuel and equipment, at your own cost.
3. Your requirements
You keep valid at all times: your driver's license for your vehicle, your vehicle's registration (OR/CR), any permit your city requires, and a working phone. You follow traffic laws, wear a helmet where required, and never ride under the influence. You tell Arnoks at once if any of these lapse; you may not take requests while they do.
4. How a delivery works (pabili)
- You accept a request in the app. It shows the store, the drop-off area, the food amount, the delivery fee and what you earn, before you accept.
- At the store you pay the store the food amount less 7% (the store's share to you), and take the food.
- You deliver it and collect from the customer the food amount plus the delivery fee, in cash.
- You mark it delivered in the app with a photo at the door.
What you earn per delivery: the delivery fee (₱39 within 3 km, plus ₱10 for every km after) plus 7% of the food amount. The app shows both before you accept. Arnoks takes nothing from your earnings.
Advance limit: no request asks you to pay a store more than ₱1,500.
5. When the customer cannot be reached
If you arrive and cannot reach the customer after calling and waiting at least ten (10) minutes, you mark "customer not reachable" in the app and bring the food back to the store within thirty (30) minutes. The store then returns to you the full amount you paid for that order. You keep the food safe and sealed until it is back at the store.
6. Food and customers
You keep the food closed, clean and upright, and do not open or eat from it. You are polite to customers and stores. You use customers' names, numbers and addresses only to deliver that order, and you do not keep, share or contact them for anything else.
7. Cash
The cash you pay the store and collect from the customer is yours to manage. Arnoks does not hold it. Give and ask for exact change where you can.
8. Accident cover
As a thank-you, after your third (3rd) completed delivery Arnoks enrolls you, at Arnoks' cost, in a personal accident insurance plan for riders, renewed every year while you stay active. The cover is what the insurer's policy states; Arnoks tells you the insurer and the coverage when you are enrolled. It is a gift to independent partners, not a wage or benefit of employment.
9. Your taxes and permits
You are responsible for your own taxes, BIR registration if required, and contributions to SSS, PhilHealth and Pag-IBIG as a self-employed person. Arnoks does not pay you and does not withhold tax from what customers and stores pay you.
10. Your safety and responsibility
You are responsible for your own vehicle, your riding and any damage or injury you cause. Arnoks is not liable for accidents, fines or losses during a delivery, except where the law says it cannot exclude its liability.
11. Pausing or ending
You may stop using the app at any time. Arnoks may pause or end your access, with the reason in writing, if you: give false information or documents; ride without a valid license or registration; fail to pay a store or return a failed order; mistreat a customer or a store; tamper with food; or misuse customer data. Before ending access for anything other than safety or fraud, Arnoks tells you the problem and gives you the chance to explain.
12. Your personal data
Arnoks handles your personal data, including your documents and your location while you are online or on a delivery, as stated in the Privacy Policy at arnoks.com/privacy. Your location is shown to the store and the customer only during their delivery.
13. Accepting online and the law
You accept this Agreement by ticking the boxes and typing your full name in the Arnoks Rider app, valid under the Electronic Commerce Act (Republic Act No. 8792). Arnoks keeps the date, the version and the technical details, and emails you a copy. Philippine law governs it. If we disagree, we first talk in good faith for thirty (30) days, then try mediation before going to court.
14. Changes
Arnoks may update this Agreement with fifteen (15) days' notice in the app; changes to how you are paid apply only after you accept them.
